The Little Things

Most importantly I would be focused on you and the everyday issues that you face. I would advocate for cleaner public washrooms at our beaches. I would advocate for more beautification in our city. I would focus on making traffic intersections safer and easier to drive through. I would also bring back the spirit of the Heritage Festival.

Growth & Job Creation

As Mayor I will be active in attracting investors, developers & job creators to our area. I will be using my time to put North Bay on the map to bring more opportunities to our city! We need to always be active on attracting and retaining job creators within our community.

Seniors & Childcare

We have over 1200 children on the wait list for childcare and the Cassellholme development is taking forever. As Mayor I will advocate for new senior and childcare facilities. I will attract private capital to our city and I will connect entrepreneurs to the appropriate resources.

As Mayor I will always keep in contact with you via the news, social media and email newsletter. I will also conduct regular polls on my website for active feedback. I will also allow other Councillors access to my events calendar so they can be more present in the community.

Sheldon's History

Sheldon was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario by his single mother Julie. Sheldon was taught computers by his uncle Eric at PC Solutions and was so interested in computers that he wrote his CompTIA IT Professional exam while still in high school. At the age of 18 Sheldon Purchased his first rental property and started his company On The Spot Computer Repair to which he re-branded in 2013 to Computer Doctors. Sheldon moved to Ottawa when he was 19 for work and while he was there he had a close friend named Hannah who introduced him to politics by inviting Sheldon to her Political Science courses at the University of Ottawa. Sheldon gained a great passion for politics during this period, so much so that in 2014 at the age of 21 he decided to run for North Bay City Council. Sheldon was running for a council seat at large and garnered the most votes which gave him the appointment of Deputy Mayor, Budget Chief and Chair of General Government. Sheldon is an extremely motivated individual, he lived in poverty during his youth and swore that he would rise above and help people anyway he could.
